FAQ

What do I get?

Each new cut first. Your name in the credits. A vote on the next episode. What it never promises: a finished series.

Where does the money go?

You're charged when you back it. It all goes to Loopfunder, the studio making this film: 15% covers payment processing and hosting, and the rest pays for the next cut. There is no goal to hit and no deadline.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds on request within 14 days of backing, and for everyone if a project is cancelled. Email support@loopfunder.com with your receipt.

How do I vote on what comes next?

When the Loopfunder team plans the next cut, the options go up as a poll in this project's updates. Follow the project and you'll see it; backers get a vote.

Do I still buy plays?

No. Plays come with backing now: one for every $1 you put in, from $5. Each play is a 24-hour pass to race in any room. Plays you already bought still work.

What are coins?

Points you earn by finishing races, more for podiums, and get when you back the game (20 per $1). They rank you and vote on the roadmap. Coins are for play only: no cash value, no withdrawals, no transfers, no exchange.

Who's building this?

The Loopfunder team, with AI build agents, from the open-source Kart Royale repo by Ryan Campbell (MIT). Every version is on the build log.

When does the next version come out?

When it's ready. Backing pays for the work, and the roadmap's top-voted items go into it. There is no fixed date.

Is this gambling or a raffle?

No. Nothing you pay can come back as money, and nothing is won. You back the game, play it, earn coins, and shape what comes next.
