What is it being judged against?
The critic compares your build blind against real reference material, every wave. Without a bar it can look at, the build has nothing to aim at. This is the most important step.
Reference frames
6–12 screenshots from the thing you're chasing, named by angle. The critic captures the same angles from your build and picks the better frame without knowing which is yours.
Drop PNG / JPG reference framesName the files by shot: "dusk-clearing.png", "canopy-up.png", "river-bend.png"…
Other bars the critic can use
Anything mechanically checkable makes the critic stricter. Numbers the sandbox can't measure (GPU frame rate) are ignored.
Where these frames come from
Homage to an existing gameThe references are from a game I don't own. They stay private in the sandbox for the critic and are never published on the campaign, the watch page, or in episodes. The build must be original work.
Original references I ownConcept art, my own captures, licensed material. May be shown publicly.
Homages are fine. Copies are not. If a critic round finds the build reproducing protected assets rather than matching a look, the run pauses and you'll hear from us.
