Where your money goes

Shown again before you pay

Backing a project on Loopfund is not a donation to a person. It's prepaid machine time, spent only on the project you picked.

The build runs on a hosted computer the creator can't log into. Every dollar it spends on AI models shows up on the campaign page, round by round, while it happens.

If the project ships or is cancelled with money left over, your share is refunded to the same card. If it never starts, you get all of it back.

How a project gets built

How the machine runs, in detail
1

The creator sets the bar

A short pitch video, one paragraph on what "done" looks like, and a handful of reference frames from the game they're chasing. That bar is what every build round is judged against.

2

Backers fund the machine

The pot is real from the first dollar. When it reaches the goal, the creator can press Start and a hosted computer boots with a spending cap equal to the pot.

3

It gets built in public

AI builders make a round of changes; separate AI judges compare the result against the bar without knowing which is which. Every round ships a playable build you can download.

Have a game in you?

Post it in about ten minutes. Describe the destination, show the bar, set a goal. Nothing is public until you publish, and you never handle the money.
