Claude of the Wild

An open-world hunt across a living forest, built by a Gauntlet Loop with Fable 5.1. The bar is Breath of the Wild's forest at dusk. The critics decide when it's there.

The destination

A forest you want to be lost in. Dusk light through the canopy, a river you can follow to the coast, deer that notice you before you notice them. Playable in the browser, one region, no combat yet. It should feel like the first ten minutes of stepping off the plateau.

The bar the critics hold it to

Every wave, a fresh critic compares our frames blind against these references and picks the better one. It doesn't know which is ours. It wins when it can't tell.

Reference set · 11 named angles · stored privately for the critic, not republished
Ours · wave 7 · 3 of 11 angles now beat the bar

What your money does

You are not tipping a developer. You are buying compute that is held for this loop and spent as frontier-model tokens inside a hosted sandbox running Claude Code. Every dollar is visible as it is spent, wave by wave. The creator never receives cash. If the loop ships or is cancelled with money left, you get your share back.

Questions people ask

Does the creator get any of this money?

No. Loopfund sells prepaid compute. The creator's withdrawal is $0 by rule. What they get is a machine that keeps running, and a finished thing at the end.

What happens if the pot runs out?

The loop pauses on the same machine with the same disk. Nothing is lost. Anyone adding fuel resumes it, usually within a minute.

What if it never reaches the start threshold?

You are charged when you fund, so the pot is real money from day one. If the creator doesn't start the run within 14 days of reaching the threshold, or the threshold isn't reached within 60 days, every backer is refunded in full.

Can I tell the agent what to do?

Not directly. Backers watch. The creator can queue a note for the next critic round. Nobody, including the creator, can interrupt a wave in progress; that is what keeps it a Gauntlet Loop.

What do I get?

Early access to every playable build, your name in the repo credits, and the finished game. Not equity, not revenue share.
